Backup or backup Claroline
To back up claroline, we must perform two steps, promotion the first is to take backup of mysql database. To do this you can use multiple tools from the mysqldump question from console like this:
Or MySQL as a manager can be phpmyadmin from the browser that we can connect to our database and click on Export. Can you use either, although I recommend using mysqldump and automate the action to be launched every so often.
Similarly, to make a copy of the database claroline only we will make half the work, because all files have about our courses and claroline has been commissioned to create promotion different folders, still have to copy it.
Nothing easier than to make a complete copy of the entire file system that generates claroline at other times recommend copying folders promotion courses (course) into the folder claroline, promotion but the space it occupies on the safe side and copy all the platform will take away more than a headache. Thus any configuration, modules added, etc would be solved by dragging a 6 or 7 Mbs over what would occupy the rest of the e-learning platform.
To perform the backup files, I recommend using an FTP client such as Filezilla, but as with the database in this case would be to back "by hand" so it is a nuisance.
A greeting! promotion
